Our "Planned" Travel Itinerary

It's a good thing we have a 24 hour plane flight and a couple Lonely Planet guide books to curl up to en route.  Ian's been busy with work and I with grad school, so our actual planning has amounted to a Saturday spent in a cafe in Brooklyn!  We've had some great recommendations, though, and our loose travel itinerary is below!  We can't wait to get there and see it all!  

Malaysia: New York --> Kuala Lumpur


Thailand:
Kuala Lumpur --> Hat Yai --> Krabi --> Ko Phi Phi --> Phuket --> Bangkok --> Chiang Mai --> Chiang Rai

Laos:
Luang Prabang --> Vang Vieng --> Vientiane

Cambodia:
Siem Reap --> Angkor Wat --> Phnom Penh

12 hours 'til takeoff!

Still in New York (Amy in Brooklyn, Ian in the Bronx) and it's a beautiful day. Hopefully the sights on the trip are better than the urbanscape we're used to. Begin the 12-hour countdown...
