Muddy Estuary

Albeit a little jet-legged, we made it to Malaysia! Kuala Lumpur, meaning "muddy estuary" or "muddy river" according to wikipedia, is a fairly modern city with an equal mix of Chinese, Malay, and Indian people. It's been easy to get around the city with the help of Ian's good sense of direction, and we've visited Chinatown, the Batu Caves, and Little India to partake in some local culture and sample some interesting cuisine. Batu Caves, a little outside the city, is a place of Hindu worship that seems to have a monkey-infestation issue. Cute at first, if you don't watch your back you might get a coconut to the head from a monkey swinging somewhere near by.

Hanging out in the hotel for a bit, relaxing with a view! Off to Thailand tomorrow!

It's hard to believe these pictures are from your cameras and not postcards or stolen web images.
